Direktur Utama Jasa Raharja Rivan A. Purwantono menyampaikan, seluruh korban terjamin UU No 33 Tahun 1964 Jo PP No 17 Tahun 1965 tentang Dana Pertanggungan Wajib Kecelakaan Penumpang Umum.
Sebagaimana Peraturan Menteri Keuangan RI No.15 Tahun 2017, korban meninggal dunia mendapat santunan sebesar Rp50 juta yang diserahkan kepada ahli waris sah.
“Sementara untuk korban luka mendapat jaminan biaya rawatan sebesar maksimal Rp20 juta yang dibayarkan kepada pihak rumah sakit tempat korban dirawat,” ujar Rivan di Jakarta.
Rivan mengatakan, bahwa santunan tersebut merupakan salah satu wujud kehadiran negara terhadap masyarakat melalui peran Jasa Raharja.
“Kami turut prihatin dan berduka cita atas musibah ini. Semoga keluarga yang ditinggalkan mendapat ketabahan, dan seluruh korban yang sedang mendapat perawatan segera disembuhkan seperti sedia kala,” ungkapnya.
Rivan menyampaikan bahwa sesaat setelah mendapat informasi kejadian, Jasa Raharja bersama Unit Laka Polres Lumajang, langsung mendatangi tempat kejadian dan rumah sakit tempat evakuasi korban, untuk melakukan pertolongan pertama sekaligus mendata para korban guna percepatan penyerahan santunan.
“Kami berkomitmen untuk senantiasa memberikan pelayanan terbaik yang mudah, cepat, dan tepat. Dan tentu saja dalam pelaksanaannya Jasa Raharja berkoordinasi dengan mitra kerja terkait, seperti Kepolisian. Kami menyampaikan terima kasih kepada Polres Lumajang atas sinergi yang baik, sehingga keterjaminan korban dapat cepat diproses,” ucapnya.
Lebih lanjut Rivan menyampaikan, bahwa saat ini Jasa Raharja telah memiliki sistem yang terintegrasi, baik dengan kepolisian, rumah sakit, dinas dukcapil, perbankan, dan mitra kerja terkait.
“Sehingga, begitu mendapat informasi atas kecelakaan tersebut, petugas kami di lapangan langsung berkoordinasi dengan pihak terkait guna percepatan penyerahan santunan,” papar Rivan.
Atas musibah tersebut, Rivan mengimbau kepada para pengguna jalan raya, khususnya yang menyeberang perlintasan kereta api palang pintu, agar senantiasa waspada dan berhati-hati.
“Kami terus mengingatkan para pengguna jalan raya agar selalu waspada dan mematuhi aturan berlalu lintas untuk keselamatan bersama,” imbuh Rivan.
Sementara itu, Kapolres Lumajang AKBP Boy Jeckson Situmorang, menyampaikan bahwa kejadian tersebut bermula saat kendaraan minibus Isuzu Elf Nopol N-7646-T sekitar pukul 19.53 WIB datang dari arah selatan ke utara, menlintasi lintasan kereta api tanpa palang pintu. Disaat bersamaan, ada kereta api Probowangi yang melaju dari arah timur ke barat, sehingga benturan tak terhindarkan.
“Dari analisa sementara, kecelakaan terjadi karena pengendara kendaraan mikrobus kurang waspadanya saat melintas di perlintasan kereta api tanpa palang pintu, sehingga menyebabkan terjadinya lakalantas” terang Boy.
Akibat kecelakaan tersebut, 11 korban meninggal dunia, dan 4 korban mengalami luka.
